| --- fountain of verdicts
Layered and waterless, the Fountain of Verdicts does as it's name implies. The rulers of the afterlife sit atop it, judging the dead as they come by. To the left lies Hades' Canyon, to the right dwells the Guardian Forest.

| --- guardian forest
As you grace yourself through the tall, stone gates that lead to the Guardian Forest, you know you've made it to heaven. The Guardian Forest is large, lush, and teeming with life. Trees are thick and full, and it is the perfect temperature. There is no hunger, thirst or pain, yet there is enough prey and water to supply everyone's desires.

To the left of the Fountain of Verdicts lies a less-than-pleasing land. Some call it Hell. Most call it Hades' Canyon. It is dried, and empty in matters of life. Hades' Canyon is a large, canyon-like desert with sloping, dangerous cliffs, and the heat forever pounding down on your back. There's no escape now. Welcome to Hades' Canyon.

Main Street is a center of activity. Shops galore, perfect places to beg or steal food. In dark alleyways, you always find some sort of inhabitant. But you have been warned. Humans bustle around, and many a human has tried to hurt a dog or take them to the pound.

The Dock, honestly, doesn't overlook a majestic, churning ocean. It overlooks a somewhat large bay, with a small dune of rocks and sand. It's a hot spot for dogs, who find watching the boats here, quite interesting. Some wolves also come here, trying their luck at fishing underneath.

| --- forgotten threshold
The Forgotten Threshold. A place of bewilderment and wonder. No one knows why no humans want this place. But this is where the abandoned pups come a live until they can fend for themselves. The Forgotten Threshold is a medium-sized cottage, complete with a nice patio and backyard.

The Storeroom is a small shed. Sounds unmajestic. It has some snow equipment, and is only used in the winter. This is where the leader of the Strays makes announcements every two rises.

The pound. And with it, an impending sense of doom. Many that come in here never come out. The people are cruel, and the dogs are dying. It's a heartless, hateful place, full of despair. You don't want to end up here.

| --- house of mange
The House of Mange is quite a common place to find wolves and mutts alike. The House of Mange is broken down and patchy, in a rugged part of the Ruins. Overrun with weeds and shadows, the House of Mange is foreboding, yet has and estranged sense of security over the wolves.

| --- crystal pool
In the center of the Ruins lies a fountain. This fountain is the only place where running water still flows. Even though the city has long since been abandoned, the plumbing stills works. The Crystal Pool has shallowed the water in it's four parts out over time, but the bottom one is still deep enough to bathe in, and half-protected by the other layers. The tile bottom of the fountain is cool, and quite quenching on a sweltering day.

Waterfront. Located on the abandoned half of the city, the Waterfront is straighforward road that follows the bay. To one side lies the bay. To the other is the ruins. There isn't much here, just some fences, wooden shacks, and a lot of sand.

Lain deep in the scrubs of the Ruins, the Forge is the place that humans had started to revamp, before they had abandoned the town. Now, it is just an empty construction site full of pits and twists.

| --- ember pines
The Ember Pines are reknowned for the reddish-yellow color of their pines after they fall. Many also claim that they were named for the swift fire that raged through there centuries ago. It is a dense woodland, filled with fast-flowing brooks and prey.

| --- nocturne tree
A large, staggeringly large tree is what the Nocturne Tree is. But it's fate befell it long ago. The Nocturne Tree has been jutting onto the forest path for as long as most remember. The roots dug up a pit when the turned up, leaving a small place to shelter when needed. But, beware, once an injured stray goes in, it's extremely hard to get out.

Stone Hill. A rough climb either way, the trails are rocky and winding. Like a miniature mountain near the end of the forest. Many wolves reside here, seeing most strays wouldn't place one paw on Stone Hill.

| --- ivy avenue
Ivy Avenue is known as the "Forest of Eden" to some strays. The use of it by humans is dwindling quickly, and many strays find this a great place to relax. The road, surrounded by undergrowth and canopy after canopy of trees, is actually an overgrown park near the outskirts of the city.
